Group Fitness Schedule

Our Torrance club has a thriving member community, and there’s nowhere this energy is felt more than in Group Fitness. Our diverse class offering balances cardio, strength, and mind/body classes to meet the complete needs of your body.

Our Personal Trainers and Group Fitness Instructors hold nationally recognized fitness certifications and are trained in CPR. At our Torrance fitness center, classes are offered 7 days a week and childcare is always available. Total Woman Gym + Spa, Torrance, is one of our eight Los Angeles area clubs.

ABS AND ASSETS
A complete workout aimed At toning and defining the Muscles in your midsection, hips, buttocks, and thighs.

BODY BLAST
This workout is designed to define your muscles, build endurance and give you the results you desire!

BOOT CAMP
This ultimate calorie-burning workout combines the best of cross-training conditioning with speed drills, plyometrics, and power exercising.  

CANDLELIGHT YOGA
Candlelight yoga will incorporate restorative yoga, meditative yoga, and hatha/vinyasa flow to help you let go of all the stress of the day leaving your body relaxed so you can get a good night’s sleep.

CARDIO KICK
A truly energetic workout where elements of traditional kickboxing are combined with low and/or high impact moves to tone the muscles and get the heart going!

C.S.I.
This cardio/strength combination class alternates strength exercises to sculpt every major muscle group with easy to follow cardio moves.

CYCLE
Simulating an outdoor ride complete with sprints, hill climbs and other terrain, this interval training class will definitely get your heart pumping!  

 

HARDCORE
This 25 minute class will concentrate on all abdominal muscles, obliques, lower back, everything to give you a hard core.

HATHA YOGA
Stretching, deep breathing, relaxation, and healing visualizations are used to facilitate release of physical and emotional tension, increase flexibility and improve balance.

JILLIAN MICHAELS BODYSHRED™
JILLIAN MICHAELS BODYSHRED is a 30-minute, high intensity and endurance based class that utilizes Jillian’s 3-2-1 interval approach: 3 minutes of strength, 2 minutes of cardio & 1 minute of abs.

JUST STRETCH
In this 25 minute class you will concentrate on flexibility and stretching.

LATINVA
A cardio dance fitness program which incorporates Latin-inspired dance stepsas the foundation.

LIGHT AND FIT
This class will involve some light resistance training and cardio.

MAT PILATES
Inspired by the Joseph Pilates method, this class emphasizes body awareness while building strength and flexibility without excess bulk.

 

POWER YOGA
Practice body connectedness, balance, and strength as you progress your body to move through powerful yoga poses.

R.I.P.P.E.D.
Resistance, Interval, Power, Plyometrics, Endurance, Diet. These components will shock your body with an incredible and fun workout!

RISE AND SHINE YOGA
This class will awaken the body by completing numerous and varied sun salutations, and level 1/2 hatha yoga flows.

VINYASA FLOW YOGA
A vigorous mind/body adventure emphasizing breathing techniques linked to flow of movement; allowing you to deepen breathing, increase endurance and test your balance and flexibility.

ZUMBA
Zumba is a fusion of Latin and international music with exciting unique moves utilizing the principles of fitness interval training with easy to follow dance steps.

ZUMBA GOLD
A lighter side of Zumba but with the same Latin flavor and fabulous music!

 


MANAGER BIOS

Kavita King, General Manager
Kavita began her career with Total Woman in 2014.  In keeping with Total Woman philosophy she stands firm in the belief that "women run the world anyway, but they run it better when they take care of themselves".  She holds an A.S. in Science and a B.S. in Exercise with a Minor in Nutrition.  Kavita knows that the best training is the training you will actually stick with.  So whether you're looking for group fitness, individual strength training or you're ready for some one-on-one personal training, she and her team are here to help you achieve your personal goals.

Anne Lim, Fitness Manager
Anne Lim is the Fitness Manager at the Torrance gym.  She’s passionate about what she does and loves that the women she works with understand the necessity of taking care of their bodies now, so that their bodies will take care of them later.

LOCATION DETAILS

Total Woman Torrance is on the east side of Pacific Coast Hwy, just North of Crenshaw in Torrance Town Center along with Smart & Final, Big 5 Sporting Goods, Panera, and PeiWei. We have plenty of free parking in front of the club.
