Group Fitness Schedule

Our Torrance club has a thriving member community, and there’s nowhere this energy is felt more than in Group Fitness. Our diverse class offering balances cardio, strength, and mind/body classes to meet the complete needs of your body. 

Included in your Total Woman Torrance membership is a vast and varied assortment of group fitness classes designed to enrich body, mind and spirit. Classes are offered 7 days a week and childcare is always available. Try a yoga class that suits your style and skill level, dance it out with Zumba or join a group on the mat for some core strengthening Pilates. (Total Woman Torrance also offers semi-private Pilates sessions for up to 3 participants or private one on one sessions).

Our Personal Trainers and Group Fitness Instructors hold nationally recognized fitness certifications and are trained in CPR. At our Torrance fitness center, classes are offered 7 days a week and childcare is always available. Total Woman Gym + Spa, Torrance, is one of our eight Los Angeles area clubs.

ABS AND ASSETS
A complete workout aimed At toning and defining the Muscles in your midsection, hips, buttocks, and thighs.

BODY BLAST
This workout is designed to define your muscles, build endurance and give you the results you desire!

BOOT CAMP
This ultimate calorie-burning workout combines the best of cross-training conditioning with speed drills, plyometrics, and power exercising.  

CANDLELIGHT YOGA
Candlelight yoga will incorporate restorative yoga, meditative yoga, and hatha/vinyasa flow to help you let go of all the stress of the day leaving your body relaxed so you can get a good night’s sleep.

CARDIO KICK
A truly energetic workout where elements of traditional kickboxing are combined with low and/or high impact moves to tone the muscles and get the heart going!

C.S.I.
This cardio/strength combination class alternates strength exercises to sculpt every major muscle group with easy to follow cardio moves.

CYCLE
Simulating an outdoor ride complete with sprints, hill climbs and other terrain, this interval training class will definitely get your heart pumping!  

 

HARDCORE
This 25 minute class will concentrate on all abdominal muscles, obliques, lower back, everything to give you a hard core.

HATHA YOGA
Stretching, deep breathing, relaxation, and healing visualizations are used to facilitate release of physical and emotional tension, increase flexibility and improve balance.

JILLIAN MICHAELS BODYSHRED™
JILLIAN MICHAELS BODYSHRED is a 30-minute, high intensity and endurance based class that utilizes Jillian’s 3-2-1 interval approach: 3 minutes of strength, 2 minutes of cardio & 1 minute of abs.

JUST STRETCH
In this 25 minute class you will concentrate on flexibility and stretching.

LATINVA
A cardio dance fitness program which incorporates Latin-inspired dance stepsas the foundation.

LIGHT AND FIT
This class will involve some light resistance training and cardio.

MAT PILATES
Inspired by the Joseph Pilates method, this class emphasizes body awareness while building strength and flexibility without excess bulk.

 

POWER YOGA
Practice body connectedness, balance, and strength as you progress your body to move through powerful yoga poses.

R.I.P.P.E.D.
Resistance, Interval, Power, Plyometrics, Endurance, Diet. These components will shock your body with an incredible and fun workout!

RISE AND SHINE YOGA
This class will awaken the body by completing numerous and varied sun salutations, and level 1/2 hatha yoga flows.

VINYASA FLOW YOGA
A vigorous mind/body adventure emphasizing breathing techniques linked to flow of movement; allowing you to deepen breathing, increase endurance and test your balance and flexibility.

ZUMBA
Zumba is a fusion of Latin and international music with exciting unique moves utilizing the principles of fitness interval training with easy to follow dance steps.

ZUMBA GOLD
A lighter side of Zumba but with the same Latin flavor and fabulous music!

About Our Gym and Spa


When you come to Total Woman Torrance, don’t forget your Hulu and Netflix passwords. This is a 21st century gym with smart TVs, so while you’re up to speed on the treadmill, you can stay up to speed with your favorite shows. At Total Woman Torrance, our mission is to provide a clean, safe, judgement free environment and all the resources you need to optimize your fitness program and unleash your personal best. Meet Our Team

Kavita King, General Manager

General Manager Kavita King is the embodiment of the Total Woman spirit who believes "women run the world anyway, but they run it better when they take care of themselves". Her credentials include an A.S. in Science and a B.S. in Exercise with a Minor in Nutrition. Keenly aware that the only effective training is the training you will actually stick with, Kavita and her team are expert at crafting practical fitness programs that challenge, but also inspire and motivate.

Anne Lim, Fitness Manager

As the Fitness Manager at Total Woman Torrance, Anne Lim is passionate about women’s fitness and the need for woman to take care of their bodies now—so their bodies will take care of them later. Her positive attitude and unrelenting support inspire the Total Woman family.

Total Woman Torrance is on the east side of Pacific Coast Hwy, just North of Crenshaw in Torrance Towne Center, along with Smart & Final, Big 5 Sporting Goods, Panera, and PeiWei. There is plenty of free parking in front of the club.
