ABS AND ASSETS
A complete workout aimed At toning and defining the Muscles in your midsection, hips, buttocks, and thighs.
Define, tone and strengthen your entire body using the stability ball.
A dynamic, energizing full body workout incorporating traditional ballet. This class delivers strength, core stability, balance and flexibility as you lengthen and sculpt muscles. Dance sneakers recommended.
Engage your body in the age-old art of belly dancing to tone muscles and burn calories!
This workout is designed to define your muscles, build endurance and give you the results you desire!
This dance class is a combination of popular dance from Punjab, India and the Bollywood style from Mumbai, India.
This innovative class will help you strengthen your core, improve balance, build muscular endurance, and burn calories while utilizing Bosu equipment.
This cardio/strength combination class alternates strength exercises to sculpt every major muscle group with easy to follow cardio moves.
Simulating an outdoor ride complete with sprints, hill climbs and other terrain, this interval training class will definitely get your heart pumping!
D.I.O. – DANCE IT OUT
A total body, high energy, cardio dance class that infuses styles of dance including hip hop, Bollywood, line dancing, disco, 80’s, African, hula and more.
The energy and expressions of Bollywood-inspired music and dance will keep you smiling while using your own resistance and muscle control, to increase stamina and keep you invigorated for the rest of your day.
Gentle yoga poses are designed to restore and re-energize the body, mind and spirit.
This 25 minute class will concentrate on all abdominal muscles, obliques, lower back, everything to give you a hard core.
Stretching, deep breathing, relaxation, and healing visualizations are used to facilitate release of physical and emotional tension, increase flexibility and improve balance.
KICK AND ABS
Traditional kickboxing combined with a core strengthening abs workout.
LIGHT AND FIT
This class will involve some light resistance training and cardio.
Inspired by the Joseph Pilates method, this class emphasizes body awareness while building strength and flexibility without excess bulk.
A sensory-based movement practice that draws from martial arts/Tai Chi, dance arts, & healing arts.
This class blends Pilates core work with boxing moves and bouncing footwork to burn calories, melt fat, and sculpt muscles.
Practice body connectedness, balance, and strength as you progress your body to move through powerful yoga poses.
Zumba is a fusion of Latin and international music with exciting unique moves utilizing the principles of fitness interval training with easy to follow dance steps.
Tanaz Amini, Fitness Manager
When Tanaz Amini joined the Total Woman gym in Studio City in 2015 as Fitness Manager, she didn’t realize she’d also be joining one big family. She loves being part of the empowering group of women that make up the Total Woman community and finds inspiration working with her clients everyday.
Total Woman Studio City is located on the corner of Laurel Canyon and Ventura Blvd. in the Laurel Point Shopping Center, just across from the escalator on the second level. You can find FREE 1 hour parking on the main level and 3 hour parking (with validation) in the lower level parking structure.
