class descriptions

ABS AND ASSETS
A complete workout aimed At toning and defining the Muscles in your midsection, hips, buttocks, and thighs.

BARREVITE
A dynamic, energizing full body workout incorporating traditional ballet. This class delivers strength, core stability, balance and flexibility as you lengthen and sculpt muscles. Dance sneakers recommended.

BALL TONING
Define, tone and strengthen your entire body using the stability ball.

BODY BLAST
This workout is designed to define your muscles, build endurance and give you the results you desire!

BOOTCAMP
This ultimate calorie-burning workout combines the best of cross-training conditioning with speed drills, plyometrics, and power exercising.  

BOSU BALL WEIGHTS
This innovative class will help you strengthen your core, improve balance, build muscular endurance, and burn calories while utilizing Bosu equipment.

C.S.I.
This cardio/strength combination class alternates strength exercises to sculpt every major muscle group with easy to follow cardio moves.

CYCLE
Simulating an outdoor ride complete with sprints, hill climbs and other terrain, this interval training class will definitely get your heart pumping! 


 

 

 

 

CYCLE FUSION
Cycling with light weights works your upper body and lower body. Great cardio workout.

D.I.O. – DANCE IT OUT
A total body, high energy, cardio dance class that infuses styles
of dance including hip hop, Bollywood, line dancing, disco, 80’s, african, hula and more.

GENTLE YOGA
Gentle yoga poses are designed to restore and re-energize the body, mind and spirit.

HATHA YOGA
Stretching, deep breathing, relaxation, and healing visualizations are used to facilitate release of physical and emotional tension, increase flexibility and improve balance.

KICK AND ABS
Traditional kickboxing combined with a core strengthening abs workout.

LIGHT AND FIT
This class will involve some light resistance training and cardio.

MAT PILATES
Inspired by the Joseph Pilates method, this class emphasizes body awareness while building strength and flexibility without excess bulk.

PILOXING ™
This class blends Pilates core work with boxing moves and bouncing footwork to burn calories, melt fat, and sculpt muscles.

 

 

PILOXING ™ BARRE
PILOXING Barre utilizes the same fundamental disciplines (Pilates & Boxing) as PILOXING SSP. In this game-changing program, PILOXING goes to the BARRE. Using a ballet barre for stability and resistance in this cardio/strength program, you lengthen, you strengthen and you box your heart out! Happy joint, strong muscles, healthy heart; that is Piloxing Barre!

POWER YOGA
Practice body connectedness, balance, and strength as you progress your body to move through powerful yoga poses.

YIN/RESTORATIVE YOGA
This class combines the best
of two relaxing yoga styles: Yin yoga, which helps gently open connective tissues (ligaments and fascia), stretch muscles, lubricate the joints, and improve energy flow along the body’s meridians
(nadis), and Restorative yoga, a form of yoga that seeks to achieve physical, mental and emotional relaxation with the aid of props.

YOGA

ZUMBA
Zumba is a fusion of Latin and international music with exciting unique moves utilizing the principles of fitness interval training with easy to follow dance steps.

Tanaz Amini, Fitness Manager
When Tanaz Amini joined the Total Woman gym in Studio City in 2015 as Fitness Manager, she didn’t realize she’d also be joining one big family. She loves being part of the empowering group of women that make up the Total Woman community and finds inspiration working with her clients everyday. 

LOCATION DETAILS


Total Woman Studio City is located on the corner of Laurel Canyon and Ventura Blvd. in the Laurel Point Shopping Center, just across from the escalator on the second level. You can find FREE 1 hour parking on the main level and 3 hour parking (with validation) in the lower level parking structure.
