Group Fitness Schedule

Our San Jose club has a thriving member community, and there’s nowhere this energy is felt more than in Group Fitness. Our diverse class offering balances cardio, strength, and mind/body classes to meet the complete needs of your body. Join like-minded peers in one of our group fitness classes and become part of our diverse and welcoming community. Whether you are dancing to the Zumba beat, balancing mind and body in a yoga class perfectly suited to your level of practice, or feeling the burn in any one of our other cardio, strength training or mind/body classes, you will benefit as much from the comradery as the workout. Classes are offered 7 days a week and childcare is always available.

All classes 50-minutes in length, unless otherwise noted.

Pass required. please sign up at the front desk up to 30 minutes prior to the start of class.

Our Personal Trainers and Group Fitness Instructors hold nationally recognized fitness certifications and are trained in CPR. At our San Jose fitness center, classes are offered 7 days a week and childcare is always available. Total Woman Gym + Spa, San Jose, is one of our three Bay Area clubs.

BODY BLAST
This workout is designed to define your muscles, build endurance and give you the results you desire!

BOOT CAMP
This ultimate calorie-burning workout combines the best of cross-training conditioning with speed drills, plyometrics, and power exercising.  

CIRCUIT PUMP
Total body workout circuit style.  This class offers circuits of cardio, strength, plyometric and core training focus.  Maximize calorie burn and total body training.

C.S.I.
This cardio/strength combination class alternates strength exercises to sculpt every major muscle group with easy to follow cardio moves.

CYCLE
Simulating an outdoor ride complete with sprints, hill climbs and other terrain, this interval training class will definitely get your heart pumping!  

CYCLE FUSION
Cycling with light weights works your upper body and lower body. Great cardio workout.

GENTLE YOGA
A calming, stress-relieving yoga class to stretch and strengthen the body gradually. Emphasis is on building awareness of the breath and the body through a gentle pace flow with attention to alignment and detail. Recommended for all levels looking for a relaxing, and restorative experience, especially those newer to yoga or working with special concerns or injuries.

 

H.I.I.T.
High intensity interval training focuses on exercises that use major muscle groups, compound movements, and high intensity movements that tap the energy sources inside the muscle allowing you to achieve amazing results in this 25 minute class.  

JUST STRETCH
In this 25 minute class you will concentrate on flexibility and stretching.

MAT PILATES
Inspired by the Joseph Pilates method, this class emphasizes body awareness while building strength and flexibility without excess bulk.

MODERN PILATES
Modern Pilates is an updated approach to core strengthening that mixes the art of mind/body practice with the science of body mechanics to improve posture, increase flexibility, and promote more functional and fluid movement.

POWER YOGA
Practice body connectedness, balance, and strength as you progress your body to move through powerful yoga poses.

PUMP IT!
A full body weightlifting class designed to tone, burn fat, and build muscle.

STRENGTH + SCULPT
This class concentrates on cardiovascular components interspaced with Strength Training. Involves total body exercises for a high calorie burning workout!!

STRENGTH + TABATA
Strength +Tabata is a high energy cardio andstrength workout that incorporates short intervals of very hard work followed by a rest interval.  Appropriate for all levels!

 

TOTAL DANCE
Take music from multiple genres, choreographed with easy combinations and add a heaping helping of fun and you have Total Dance! All levels from never danced - to been dancing forever encouraged!

TURBO KICK
The evolution of kickboxing! Cardio kickboxing taken to the next level with the hottest music, HIIT drills and core work incorporated! For all ages and levels!

U-JAM
This intense cardiovascular workoutfeatures easy to learn dance steps that make you sweat and tone your body!

VINYASA FLOW YOGA
A vigorous mind/body adventure emphasizing breathing techniques linked to flow of movement; allowing you to deepen breathing, increase endurance and test your balance and flexibility.

ZUMBA
Zumba is a fusion of Latin and international music with exciting unique moves utilizing the principles of fitness interval training with easy to follow dance steps.

About Our Gym and Spa

Total Woman San Jose, one of our three Bay Area clubs, is a unique facility that perfectly balances fun and friendship with serious fitness. We are a community of busy, multi-tasking women who have limited time to spare but wouldn’t trade their special “me” time in the gym for anything. When there is time, conversations can continue in one of the many healthy food eateries within walking distance. Be advised, though our address says El Paseo De Saratoga, our front door is actually physically facing Campbell Avenue.

Fitness Manager Ashley Bulik is a former member of the Total Woman community who truly understands the culture and energy of our concept. She transitioned into management in 2014 and is so proud to call her team “family.”
