Group Fitness Schedule
Our Placentia club has a thriving member community, and there’s nowhere this energy is felt more than in Group Fitness. Our diverse class offering balances cardio, strength, and mind/body classes to meet the complete needs of your body.
Our Personal Trainers and Group Fitness Instructors hold nationally recognized fitness certifications and are trained in CPR. At our Placentia fitness center, classes are offered 7 days a week and childcare is always available. Total Woman Gym + Spa, Placentia, is one of our Orange County area clubs.

BODY BAR STRENGTH

30 minutes of toning and ballet moves to lengthen and strengthen your body for all levels of fitness.
This ultimate calorie-burning workout combines the best of cross-training conditioning with speed drills, plyometrics, and power exercising.
Enjoy an exciting workout on a unique piece of equipment! This innovative class will help you strengthen your core, improve balance, build muscular endurance, and burn calories.
30 minutes of heart conditioning through a variety of movement (dace, kickboxing, drumming) just to name a few for all levels of fitness.
This cardio/strength combination class alternates strength exercises to sculpt every major muscle group with easy to follow cardio moves.
Simulating an outdoor ride complete with sprints, hill climbs and other terrain, this interval training class will definitely get your heart pumping!
Stretching, deep breathing, relaxation, and healing visualizations are used to facilitate release of physical and emotional tension, increase flexibility and improve balance.
Work flat out in 3 to 5 minute blocks, with only a few seconds to break; it keeps your body working at maximum capacity through the entire workout. Exercises include; plyometrics, athletic sports drills, upper body resistance, cardio, intense abdominal training and recovery.
JILLIAN MICHAELS BODYSHRED™
JILLIAN MICHAELS BODYSHRED is a 30-minute, high intensity and endurance based class that utilizes Jillian’s 3-2-1 interval approach: 3 minutes of strength, 2 minutes of cardio & 1 minute of abs.
LIGHT AND FIT
This class will involve some light resistance training and cardio.
Inspired by the Joseph Pilates method, this class emphasizes body awareness while building strength and flexibility without excess bulk.
30 minutes total body strengthening for all levels of fitness.
A unique low impact, high intensity body transforming program designed to build strength & gain flexibility.

An exhilarating fat burning program with a fun & effective mix of cardio-based movements.
In this high energy, cardio, dance, fitness class, you will burn calories performing dynamic moves encompassing a full range of motion from head to toe. The music is current hottest hits to the oldest oldies with everything in between. Dance, laugh, and have fun until you drop. Remember Dance is Exercise in disguise.
Self-defense moves, boxing, kicks are all incorporated into this intense cardio class!
30 minutes for those who need to ease into yoga and work on balance and flexibility. large portion of class are with standing moves.
Zumba is a fusion of Latin and international music with exciting unique moves utilizing the principles of fitness interval training with easy to follow dance steps.
A lighter side of Zumba but with the same Latin flavor and fabulous music!
Teri Vanover, General Manager
Prior to joining the Total Woman team 7 years ago, club General Manager Teri Vanover was a member – and 100lbs over weight. With the support of her personal trainer and the Total Woman community, she lost the weight in one year. Teri’s fitness journey inspired a career change.
Rebecca Jackson, Fitness Manager
Teri is supported by Fitness Manager Rebecca Jackson. Rebecca is a cancer survivor and mother to 3 beautiful children. Her ability to positively impact others through health and wellness serves as inspiration to her as well as her personal training and Pilates clients.
Located across from the Alta Vista Golf Course, you can find Total Woman Placentia on the east side of Rose Drive in the Village Center at Rose shopping center along with Ralph's, MedPost and Carl's Jr. We have ample free parking in front of the club.
