Group Fitness Schedule

Irvine’s group fitness classes are as much about community as they are about cardio, strength, balance, sculpting and toning. Whether you are getting sassy with Zumba, going for core conditioning in Pilates, or feeling the burn in any one of our diverse assortment of mind/body enhancement classes, you’ll be sweating it out with energetic, like minded peers.  

Our Personal Trainers and Group Fitness Instructors hold nationally recognized fitness certifications and are trained in CPR. At our Irvine fitness center, classes are offered 7 days a week and childcare is always available. Total Woman Gym + Spa, Irvine, is one of our Orange County area clubs.

Make your bottom half your better half with a complete workout aimed at toning and defining the muscles in your midsection, hips, buttocks, and thighs. Get ready to feel great about how you look.

A.I.S. (Active Isolated Stretching)
Active Isolated Stretching provides effective, dynamic, facilitated stretching of major muscle groups. Learn postures and techniques for muscle lengthening and fascial release. Options are given for all levels of fitness participants.

This class incorporates mat and ballet barre exercises using loops, balls, and weights to challenge the whole body, building strength and grace.

This workout is designed to define your muscles, build endurance and give you the results you desire!

Candlelight yoga will incorporate restorative yoga, meditative yoga, and hatha/vinyasa flow to help you let go of all the stress of the day leaving your body relaxed so you can get a good night’s sleep.

Simulating an outdoor ride complete with sprints, hill climbs and other terrain, this interval training class will definitely get your heart pumping!

A total body, high energy, cardio dance class that infuses styles of dance including hip hop, bollywood, line dancing, disco, 80’s, african, hula and more.  This class is suitable for all ages and fitness levels.

Gentle yoga poses are designed to restore and re-energize the body, mind and spirit.


Engage in a mind/body adventure that emphasizes breathing techniques linked to traditional yoga postures. The smooth, continuous flow deepens breathing, increases endurance, improves flexibility and balance.

Fun moves, fun music. The latest dance moves are broken down and built in a fashion that allows everyone to follow with ease. So jam through a class of tight grooves and cool moves. No experience needed.

JILLIAN MICHAELS BODYSHRED is a 30-minute, high intensity and endurance based class that utilizes Jillian’s 3-2-1 interval approach: 3 minutes of strength, 2 minutes of cardio & 1 minute of abs.

Inspired by the Joseph Pilates method, this class emphasizes body awareness while building strength and flexibility without excess bulk.

This class blends Pilates core work with boxing moves and bouncing footwork to burn calories, melt fat, and sculpt muscles.

A unique low impact, high intensity body transforming program designed to build strength & gain flexibility.

This class will awaken the body by completing numerous and varied sun salutations, and level 1/2 hatha yoga flows.

Quick and effective, the Tabata workout provides maximum calorie burn in a short period of time. Improve your endurance, speed, power, and agility as you challenge your body with this high-intensity interval training class.

A full-body workout that includes both resistance training and cardio movement. Increase your muscular endurance with strength and stabilization exercises. Burn calories, build stamina, and get results.

Self-defense moves, boxing, kicks are all incorporated into this intense cardio class!

A mind/body adventure emphasizing breathing techniques linked to flow of movement. Use a variety of equipment (balls, weights, body resistance) to promote optimal strength, flexibility, range of motion, balance, and stability.

Zumba is a fusion of Latin and international music with exciting unique moves utilizing the principles of fitness interval training with easy to follow dance steps.

A lighter side of Zumba but with the same Latin flavor and fabulous music!

Meet Our Team

Rosalynn Hanson, General Manager

Rosalynn Hanson is the General Manager at the Total Woman gym in Irvine where she treasures the relationships she’s built with both members and her Total Woman team.  A mother of two athletic children, Rosalynn is the true embodiment of the Total Woman spirit. She loves spending time with her family but understands that to be the best version of herself she needs to set aside time focus on her own needs as well.

Barbara Fox, Fitness Manager

Barbara Fox has been a Fitness Professional for over 25 years, working as a personal trainer, Pilates and group exercise instructor and has taught other fitness professionals to do the same. Barbara has been teaching Pilates for 21 years and considers it one of her specialties. She holds a B.S. in Sports Medicine and a B.A. in Psychology. Currently, she is the Fitness Manager at Total Woman Gym in Irvine where her passion for teaching Health and Wellness and living a balanced, healthy, life is evident every day.
