My Fitness Routine this Week:
As my little guy takes up more and more room, I'm really relying on my workouts to keep my core muscles pliable enough to allow for easy breathing and movement. I truly believe that if it weren't for the Pilates I am doing, my pregnant belly would feel much more uncomfortable. Honestly, I don't ever feel like there is any pressure on my organs unless I eat a really large meal. As he grows more rapidly, I plan on supplementing my Pilates workouts with a few yoga classes at our location. We have such wonderful teachers who can help all different skill levels, and I can't wait to see how they help my pregnancy!
My Beauty Routine this Week:
Because I'm trying to stay out of the sunshine in order to keep my body temperature down, my summer skin is obviously lighter than usual. Because I have olive skin, scars show up very prominently on my body. A good tan helps my skin to look more even and healthy. To replace the sun, I am using skin authority's sunless tanner. This lotion builds a gradual tan so I can control the amount and placement of color while moisturizing my skin!
How I'm Feeling this Week:
Hot. And not the good way! It's taken a while for me to feel my temperature rise from my little internal space heater, but lately I've noticed myself warming up at times that I normally wouldn't. Usually I love the heat, but it's something that has made me very nauseated my whole pregnancy, so it's not the most enjoyable feeling these days. I'm trying to drink lots of water, stay in front of fans, and stay out of the sun as much as possible.
