Our female-focused facility combines a health club and a day spa to provide you with all the essential services you need for sustained health and wellness in one convenient location. 
 


Group Fitness Schedule

Our Northridge club has a thriving member community, and there’s nowhere this energy is felt more than in Group Fitness. Our diverse class offering balances cardio, strength, and mind/body classes to meet the complete needs of your body.

Our Personal Trainers and Group Fitness Instructors hold nationally recognized fitness certifications and are trained in CPR. At our Northridge fitness center, classes are offered 7 days a week and childcare is always available. Total Woman Gym + Spa, Northridge, is one of our eight Los Angeles area clubs.

BODY BLAST
This workout is designed to define your muscles, build endurance and give you the results you desire!

BODY THERAPY
Taught by a massage therapist, this is a self care class using myofacial release to unwind physical symptoms and the corresponding emotional component.

BOOT CAMP
This ultimate calorie-burning workout combines the best of cross-training conditioning with speed drills, plyometrics, and power exercising.

CANDLELIGHT YOGA
Candlelight yoga will incorporate restorative yoga, meditative yoga, and hatha/vinyasa flow to help you let go of all the stress of the day leaving your body relaxed so you can get a good night’s sleep.

C.S.I.
This cardio/strength combination class alternates strength exercises to sculpt every major muscle group with easy to follow cardio moves.

CYCLE
Simulating an outdoor ride complete with sprints, hill climbs and other terrain, this interval training class will definitely get your heart pumping!  

CYCLE FUSION
This class that “fuses” cycle with other formats. The cycle is 30 to 45 mins. after the cardio it is fused with strength or barre/pilates/yoga, or even a bootcamp format providing a total body workout.

D.I.O. – DANCE IT OUT
A total body, high energy, cardio dance class that infuses styles of dance including hip hop, Bollywood, line dancing, disco, 80’s, african, hula and more.

HATHA YOGA
Stretching, deep breathing, relaxation, and healing visualizations are used to facilitate release of physical and emotional tension, increase flexibility and improve balance.

IMPACT KICKBOXING
This challenging class utilizes heavy bags and gloves to ensure that you get a total body workout! Must have gloves to use bags.

INSANITY
Uses MAX Interval Training which replaces your moderate intensity exercise with maximum-intensity exercise, and your short intervals of intensity with short periods of rest.These fast-twitch fibers continue burning extra fuel even during lower-intensity exercise. INSANITY pushes you beyond what you thought was possible with explosive cardio and plyometric drills and non-stop intervals of strength, power and resistance.

JILLIAN MICHAELS BODYSHRED™
JILLIAN MICHAELS BODYSHRED is a 30-minute, high intensity and endurance based class that utilizes Jillian’s 3-2-1 interval approach: 3 minutes of strength, 2 minutes of cardio & 1 minute of abs. 

LIGHT AND FIT
This class will involve some light resistance training and cardio.

MAT PILATES
Inspired by the Joseph Pilates method, this class emphasizes body awareness while building strength and flexibility without excess bulk.

POUND
A full-body cardio jam session, combining light resistance with constant simulated drumming. The workout fuses cardio, Pilates, isometric movements, plyometrics and Isometric poses.

POWER CORE
This workout, a fusion of Yoga and Pilates, uses a series of exercise routines designed to increase your Core (abs/obliques/lower back) strength and endurance while improving your posture, energy, & flexibility. All levels welcome.

POWER FLEX/CORE
Yoga and Pilates based movements combined with standing balance work, traditional abdominal exercises and flowing stretches to help you achieve long, lean muscles giving you a powerful, flexible, and youthful body.  This comprehensive core workout will leave you feeling strong and re-energized!

POWER YOGA
Practice body connectedness, balance, and strength as you progress your body to move through powerful yoga poses.

RISE AND SHINE YOGA
This class will awaken the body by completing numerous and varied sun salutations, and level 1/2 hatha yoga flows.

SALSA
Move your feet and hips to the latest Latin rhythms for a great cardiovascular workout.

STEP
Hi/Low impact movements performed on and off a step platform are geared at optimizing your ability to burn fat.

STRENGTH + SCUPLT
Strength + Sculpt focuses on the essential areas of enhancement on a woman's body. Get added cardio as you chisel your arms, core, and glutes to perfection. Work in teams, dance it out in the stress-free circle, and get a full stretch at the end of every class.

TOTAL TONE
The class with rhythm that will have you toned in no time! Work every major muscle group in this fun class and watch your body transform. Total Tone combines high-energy cardio work and targeted body-sculpting exercises to create a calorie-torching, strength-training fitness party. Feel and look great with your upper body, legs, bums, and tums! All levels welcome.

ZUMBA
Zumba is a fusion of Latin and international music with exciting unique moves utilizing the principles of fitness interval training with easy to follow dance steps.


MANAGER BIOS

Cate Dapello, General Manager

Cate Dapello is the General Manager and has been a part of the Total Woman family since 2015. Her desire to have a positive impact on as many people as she can has helped to inspire both her team at Total Woman and its members. A passionate fitness enthusiast, she continues to grow and learn about the fitness industry and leads by example, often working out alongside members at the gym in Northridge.

Mina Keshavarzi, Fitness Manager

Ever since joining Total Woman as the Fitness Manager a year ago, Mina Keshavarzi has felt like Total Woman is a second home and the powerful women who surround her are family. She believes that Total Woman provides a level of comfort for women looking to find total wellness and loves to push her clients hard but also allow them to have fun.

Total Woman Northridge is located in the Northridge Promenade, just South of the Northridge Fashion Center Shopping Mall.  Situated at the cross section of Nordhoff and Shirley Streets, you can find us  tucked behind Guitar Center and La-z-boy with plenty of free parking spaces available around the entire building.
