Expect something different when you walk through the doors of Total Woman Gym + Spa. Of all the gyms in Irvine, we are the only one designed specifically for women, by women. Our female-focused facility combines a health club and a day spa to provide you with all the essential services you need for sustained health and wellness in one convenient location.


Group Fitness Schedule

Our Irvine club has a thriving member community, and there’s nowhere this energy is felt more than in Group Fitness. Our diverse class offering balances cardio, strength, and mind/body classes to meet the complete needs of your body.

Our Personal Trainers and Group Fitness Instructors hold nationally recognized fitness certifications and are trained in CPR. At our Irvine fitness center, classes are offered 7 days a week and childcare is always available. Total Woman Gym + Spa, Irvine, is one of our Orange County area clubs.

ABS & ASSETS
Make your bottom half your better half with a complete workout aimed at toning and defining the muscles in your midsection, hips, buttocks, and thighs. Get ready to feel great about how you look.

A.I.S. (Active Isolated Stretching)
Active Isolated Stretching provides effective, dynamic, facilitated stretching of major muscle groups. Learn postures and techniques for muscle lengthening and fascial release. Options are given for all levels of fitness participants.

BARRE FIT
This class incorporates mat and ballet barre exercises using loops, balls, and weights to challenge the whole body, building strength and grace.

BODY BLAST
This workout is designed to define your muscles, build endurance and give you the results you desire!

CANDLELIGHT YOGA
Candlelight yoga will incorporate restorative yoga, meditative yoga, and hatha/vinyasa flow to help you let go of all the stress of the day leaving your body relaxed so you can get a good night’s sleep.

CYCLE
Simulating an outdoor ride complete with sprints, hill climbs and other terrain, this interval training class will definitely get your heart pumping!

DANCE IT OUT
A total body, high energy, cardio dance class that infuses styles of dance including hip hop, bollywood, line dancing, disco, 80’s, african, hula and more.  This class is suitable for all ages and fitness levels.

GENTLE YOGA
Gentle yoga poses are designed to restore and re-energize the body, mind and spirit.

 

HATHA YOGA
Engage in a mind/body adventure that emphasizes breathing techniques linked to traditional yoga postures. The smooth, continuous flow deepens breathing, increases endurance, improves flexibility and balance.

HIP HOP
Fun moves, fun music. The latest dance moves are broken down and built in a fashion that allows everyone to follow with ease. So jam through a class of tight grooves and cool moves. No experience needed.

JILLIAN MICHAELS BODYSHRED
JILLIAN MICHAELS BODYSHRED is a 30-minute, high intensity and endurance based class that utilizes Jillian’s 3-2-1 interval approach: 3 minutes of strength, 2 minutes of cardio & 1 minute of abs.

MAT PILATES
Inspired by the Joseph Pilates method, this class emphasizes body awareness while building strength and flexibility without excess bulk.

PILOXING
This class blends Pilates core work with boxing moves and bouncing footwork to burn calories, melt fat, and sculpt muscles.

P.I.Y.O.
A unique low impact, high intensity body transforming program designed to build strength & gain flexibility.

POWER YOGA
Practice body connectedness, balance, and strength as you progress your body to move through powerful yoga poses.

R.I.P.P.E.D.
Resistance, Interval, Power, Plyometrics, Endurance, Diet. These components will shock your body with an incredible and fun workout!

 

RISE AND SHINE YOGA
This class will awaken the body by completing numerous and varied sun salutations, and level 1/2 hatha yoga flows.

STRONGBOARD
Named by ACE (American Council on Exercise) as the top training tool in 2015, StrongBoard will bridge the gap between your brain and your muscles. In this class, you will improve balance and proprioception, tone and sculpt muscle, burn fat, and accelerate calorie burn.

TABATA
Quick and effective, the Tabata workout provides maximum calorie burn in a short period of time. Improve your endurance, speed, power, and agility as you challenge your body with this high-intensity interval training class.

TOTAL CIRCUIT
A full-body workout that includes both resistance training and cardio movement. Increase your muscular endurance with strength and stabilization exercises. Burn calories, build stamina, and get results.

TURBO KICK
Self-defense moves, boxing, kicks are all incorporated into this intense cardio class!

YOGA FUSION
A mind/body adventure emphasizing breathing techniques linked to flow of movement. Use a variety of equipment (balls, weights, body resistance) to promote optimal strength, flexibility, range of motion, balance, and stability.

ZUMBA
Zumba is a fusion of Latin and international music with exciting unique moves utilizing the principles of fitness interval training with easy to follow dance steps.

ZUMBA GOLD
A lighter side of Zumba but with the same Latin flavor and fabulous music!


MANAGER BIOS

Rosalynn Hanson, General Manager
Rosalynn Hanson is the General Manager at the Total Woman gym in Irvine where she thoroughly enjoys the relationships she’s built with both members and her Total Woman team.  A mother of two athletic children, she enjoys spending time with her family but knows that to be her own best version, she needs to take time out for herself as well – which is the embodiment of what Total Woman is all about.

Barbara Fox, Fitness Manager
Barbara Fox has been a Fitness Professional for over 25 years, working as a personal trainer, Pilates and group exercise instructor and has taught other fitness professionals to do the same.  Barbara has been teaching Pilates for 21 years and would consider this one of her specialties.  She holds a B.S. in Sports Medicine and a B.A. in Psychology. Currently, she is the Fitness Manager at Total Woman Gym in Irvine where her passion for teaching Health and Wellness and living a balanced, healthy, life are put into action everyday.
 

LOCATION DETAILS

Total Woman Irvine is located on the south side of Culver Drive, just west of the 5 Freeway in The Heritage Plaza.  You can find us alongside Ralphs, CVS, and Chase Bank with plenty of free parking in front of the club.
